What is PreciselyMaybe?+
A decision-support tool for pricing legal work. It maps a short generic description into activities, effort, scope risk and a pricing reading, then adds jurisdiction context when verified public references are available.
Does PreciselyMaybe tell me the correct or fair fee?+
No. It does not declare a fee correct, fair, mandatory or sufficient. The output is a structured starting point for your own pricing decision.
What is Price Fit?+
A 0–100 reading of how a proposed fee aligns with the mapped work and confirmed assumptions. It appears only when you provide a proposed fee and should always be read together with the effort range, risk and assumptions.
What does AI do — and what does it not do?+
AI helps interpret a generic work description and explain an already-calculated result. You confirm the scope. Hours, risk, scenarios and Price Fit are calculated by PreciselyMaybe' deterministic engine; the language model does not own the fee math.
What are public pricing references used for?+
They provide jurisdiction context only. PreciselyMaybe identifies the source and its limits and never borrows a local reference from another territory. Public references do not mechanically determine Price Fit.
Modes, plans & one-off analyses
What is the difference between Quick, Full and Advanced?+
Quick is focused scoping with up to 6 structured questions. Full goes deeper with up to 10. Advanced can use up to 14 and adds detailed jurisdiction pricing context, available public references and side-by-side scenario editing.
Which modes are included in each subscription?+
Free includes Quick once. Basic, Plus and Pro include Quick + Full + Advanced. Basic has 20 monthly credits; Plus has 60 plus history, reusable templates, your own comparables and discount simulation; Pro has 150 plus detailed Advanced tools and saved preferences.
Can I buy a single analysis without subscribing?+
Yes. The launch positioning is Quick USD 9, Full USD 19 and Advanced USD 39. A one-off purchase gives you the depth of that analysis for one matter, but not subscription continuity features such as history, templates, own comparables, saved preferences or monthly credits.
What intelligence level does each option use?+
Subscriptions are positioned as Free Essential, Basic Adaptive, Plus Advanced and Pro Professional. One-off Quick uses Adaptive, Full uses Advanced and Advanced uses Professional. These levels describe PreciselyMaybe routing; provider brands are not a plan entitlement.
How do credits work?+
Quick costs 1 credit, Full 2 and Advanced 3. One submitted Update result command for financial numbers costs 1 credit. Restoring originals, discount simulation, Advanced scenario editing and Ask Percy cost 0.
What are credit packs?+
They are top-ups only for active Basic, Plus and Pro subscribers: 10 credits for USD 19, 30 for USD 49 and 75 for USD 99. Purchased credits do not expire under the current launch rule and are used after monthly credits. They are not an alternative to a subscription or a one-off analysis.
What are the subscription prices?+
Basic is USD 19/month or USD 190/year, Plus USD 49/month or USD 490/year, and Pro USD 99/month or USD 990/year. Annual billing equals 10 monthly payments for 12 months of access. Payments are processed by Paddle when checkout is available.
Data, privacy & learning
Is my work description stored?+
No. The raw description is not persisted in the PreciselyMaybe database. An unfinished draft may exist only in browser session storage while you work through the flow.
Can I enter client names, documents or confidential information?+
No. Use generic descriptions only. PreciselyMaybe screens for some obvious identifiers, but that is a safety layer, not permission to submit confidential, privileged or personal information.
Does PreciselyMaybe train external AI on my analysis?+
No. The product does not automatically train external language models on raw client or work text. Structured, non-confidential signals may be used in a controlled, versioned calibration process after review and testing.
What can be stored when I am signed in?+
Account and preference data, structured calibration signals and, when you choose to save an analysis, a sanitized structured summary. Community posts and replies are stored because the forum needs persistence. Raw work descriptions are not stored.
What are my own comparables?+
For Plus and Pro, PreciselyMaybe can surface similar structured analyses from your own history. They never mix another user's matters and are not presented as a market benchmark.
Launch availability
How does billing work?+
Free remains free. Paid subscriptions, one-off analyses and credit packs are charged through Paddle when checkout is available. Early-access tester accounts may retain separate promotional entitlements while their tester status remains active.
What prices apply at launch?+
The prices shown on the Pricing page are the current launch prices. Any future change will be reflected before the customer confirms a new purchase or renewal where applicable.
Does PreciselyMaybe replace professional judgment?+
No. It is an informational decision-support tool. You remain responsible for defining the engagement, checking the assumptions, deciding the fee and exercising professional judgment.
